01Organizer

The DevClash Rank Battle prizes (the "Promotion") are organized by FUTUREFORGE LABS SRL, the operator of DevClash (the "Organizer"). Contact: hello@devclash.ai.

These rules add to the DevClash Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If they conflict, these rules govern the Promotion.

The Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, X Corp. or any AI provider, including Anthropic, OpenAI, Anysphere (Cursor) or the OpenCode project. Product names are used only to identify supported usage sources. Posts on X are subject to X's own rules.

02Promotion Period

The Promotion starts on 13 October 2026 at 00:00:00 UTC. It has no fixed end date and continues until the Organizer ends it under section 12.

Prize periods follow the Rank Battle leaderboard:

Weekly period: a UTC calendar week, from Monday 00:00:00 to Sunday 23:59:59.

Monthly period: a UTC calendar month.

Every weekly and monthly period that ends on or after 13 October 2026 is eligible, while the Promotion runs. The first eligible periods are the week of 12 to 18 October 2026 and the month of October 2026.

03Who Can Take Part

To be eligible for a prize, you must:

Be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.

Live in a country or territory where taking part is lawful. The Promotion is open worldwide.

Hold one DevClash account in your own name.

DevClash itself remains available from age 16 under the Terms of Use, but prizes are only for eligible adults.

You can't win a prize if any of these apply:

You are an employee or contractor of the Organizer, or a member of their immediate family or household.

You live where the Promotion is prohibited or restricted by law.

You are subject to applicable sanctions.

One person may hold only one participating account.

04How To Take Part

1. Create a free DevClash account.

2. Turn on cloud sync in the DevClash desktop app so your supported usage is uploaded.

3. Join Rank Battle, the public leaderboard, from the desktop app or web app.

4. Add your X profile to your DevClash profile, in the X link of your profile. The X account must be your own.

5. Share your rank on X. Publish a public post on that X account that shares your DevClash Rank Battle rank, for example with Share Rank. Post it during the period, or within 24 hours after the period ends.

Keep the post public, and the X link on your DevClash profile, until any prize you win has been delivered. One post can cover several periods if it was published within the time described in step 5 for each of them. You don't need to follow, tag or mention anyone.

Taking part in Rank Battle publishes your DevClash handle and ranked token totals on the leaderboard. You can leave Rank Battle at any time. Usage from periods in which you are not participating does not count.

No purchase from DevClash is necessary. DevClash is free to use. The Promotion measures usage from AI developer tools you already use; it does not require you to buy any AI subscription, plan or usage, and you should not buy or generate usage to compete (see section 06).

05How Winners Are Decided

Rank is decided by eligible tokens in each period on the Rank Battle leaderboard (all providers, all models, all regions).

Eligible tokens are token usage that meets all of these conditions:

It comes from DevClash's supported sources: local Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode records, and Cursor account usage, as measured by the DevClash desktop app.

It occurred during the period and after you joined Rank Battle.

It was uploaded no later than 24 hours after the period ended. Later uploads do not count for that period.

To be eligible for a period, you must also have completed steps 4 and 5 of section 04 for that period.

Weekly prize: the eligible participant ranked #1 for a weekly period.

Monthly prize: the eligible participant ranked #1 for a monthly period.

One person can win both a weekly prize and a monthly prize, including for overlapping periods.

Minimum participation. A prize is awarded for a period only if at least 10 eligible participants have a score above zero for that period. This matches the threshold for Rank Battle Champion badges.

Ties. If two or more participants are tied for #1, the winner is the one whose final qualifying total was reached first, measured by the time of their last eligible usage record in the period.

Final results. Results become final after the 24-hour upload window closes and any verification under section 06 is complete. If the first-placed participant is disqualified or does not claim the prize, the Organizer may offer the prize to the next eligible participant.

06Fair Play And Verification

Leaderboard scores come from usage reported by participants' devices. They do not certify skill, professional status or project quality.

To stay eligible, your usage must come from your own genuine work with AI tools, in line with those tools' terms. These are not allowed:

Fabricating, editing, replaying or importing usage records.

Tampering with the DevClash app, its data or its uploads.

Generating usage whose main purpose is to raise your score rather than do real work, such as scripts or loops that send repeated or meaningless prompts.

Using more than one account, sharing an account, or coordinating with others to manipulate rankings.

Using an X account that isn't yours.

Exploiting bugs.

Breaching the DevClash Terms of Use.

Verification. The Organizer checks the X link on your DevClash profile and your rank post on X. Before awarding a prize, the Organizer may also ask the provisional winner for reasonable evidence for the period, provided within 7 days. Examples are an AI provider's usage dashboard or billing records, or proof that you control the linked X account. Never send passwords, sign-in codes or API keys.

The Organizer may disqualify a participant, or withhold a prize, if any of these happen:

Requested evidence isn't provided.

The evidence doesn't reasonably support the reported usage.

A rule above was broken.

Decisions are made reasonably and consistently, are explained where lawful and appropriate, and can be questioned at hello@devclash.ai.

07Prizes

Weekly prize: worth USD 20, once for each eligible weekly period.

Monthly prize: worth USD 200, once for each eligible monthly period.

Each prize is intended to pay for an AI subscription of the winner's choice. The winner chooses how to receive it:

USDC: sent to a wallet address the winner controls, on a network the Organizer supports. 1 USDC counts as USD 1, and the Organizer pays the network fees. The winner must provide a correct address; a transfer to the address the winner provides is final.

A digital gift card: of equal value, from a retailer the Organizer can offer in the winner's country.

Before sending a prize, the Organizer may ask for information needed for sanctions, anti-fraud or tax checks.

Prizes are personal and can't be transferred to another person. If neither option can lawfully be delivered in the winner's country, the Organizer may offer an alternative of equal value.

Build Credits are not prizes. They keep the terms that already apply to them: no cash value, and they can't be redeemed for money.

08Winner Notification And Claim

The Organizer will contact the provisional winner through an in-app DevClash notice and the account's email address. This happens within 7 days after the period's results become final.

To claim the prize, the winner must reply within 14 days, confirm their X link and rank post, complete any verification, and choose USDC or a gift card with the details needed to deliver it. Otherwise the prize is forfeited and may go to the next eligible participant.

The Organizer will deliver the prize within 30 days after receiving a complete claim.

09Taxes

Winners are responsible for any taxes that apply to their prize where they live, unless the law requires the Organizer to withhold or report them.

Where the law requires it, the Organizer will withhold or report taxes and may ask for the information needed to do so.

10Publicity

Rank Battle positions are public. With the winner's consent where the law requires it, the Organizer may announce the winner's DevClash handle and prize on devclash.ai and on DevClash social channels. The Organizer won't publish a winner's real name or image without consent.

11Privacy

The Organizer uses account, ranking, usage and claim information to check eligibility, verify results, contact winners, deliver prizes, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations, as described in the DevClash Privacy Policy.

Verification evidence and delivery details are kept only as long as needed for those purposes and for any retention the law requires.

12Changes, Suspension And Cancellation

The Organizer may change, suspend or end the Promotion by publishing an update on this page. Any end date will be published at least 7 days in advance. Changes do not reduce prizes for periods that had already ended before the change was published.

If fraud, a technical failure or another event outside the Organizer's reasonable control compromises the integrity of a period, the Organizer may void prize results for that period and will explain why on this page.

13Responsibility And Applicable Law

Nothing in these rules excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded, or removes mandatory consumer rights.

These rules are governed by Romanian law. This does not take away the protection of mandatory rules in the country where a consumer participant lives.

Please send any complaint to hello@devclash.ai first. Disputes may be brought before the competent courts, and these rules do not require arbitration.

14Contact

These rules are published at devclash.ai/prize-rules. For questions or claims, contact FUTUREFORGE LABS SRL at hello@devclash.ai or the postal address above.
